Colt has not come out with a 6 inch King Cobra target model. A modern version of the old 6 inch Model 19. At least in size and weight. I would be on one quick. I would by the 4 inch if I didn't have 4 inch model 19 already! Smaller lighter and less expensive than the python...tj

They recently introduced the King Cobra in 22 LR with a 6" Barrel.
The same in 357 Magnum might be interesting. But, the New Rossi 357 Mag is unbeatable.
I'm hoping for an Anaconda 45 Colt...

The new Rossis are NICE. I have the fixed-sighted, 3" model.
I've owned a lot of very good, very functional and very accurate DA revolvers, but this one almost seems nicer than I deserve. It's certainly nicer than I'm used to.

And if you step up to the available 6" 686 L frame you are stuck with the monster underlug. How about a 6" 686 with a skinny tapered barrel like the older Outdoorsman. Would probably weigh the same as 4" heavy barrel full under lug gun. Funny, they make a 629 without the underlug but not a 686?

S&W did make the 686 Mountain gun for Lipsey’s without the under lug, but of course it was a 4”. Same gun in 6” would be a winner. Or just find a 6” Ruger Security Six. 😛

Very obviously apples and oranges but I've been in a revolver only league for a couple weeks shooting a six inch GP100 and it's been awesome. I bought the gun on a whim last year to scavenge the unfiluted cylinder for my 4" and planned to sell it but it shoots so well it has a place here.

Good responses here. I am open to a GP100 but would prefer no underlug. A security 6 might be better yet. N frames are to heavy. A model 19 would be great. Not likely to get a Rossi. I do not like the way they treated me on an issue with a 92 44 mag. ...tj
