I think the Leupold dual dovetail mount looks a lot better than the Weigand mount on the Smiths. Sits a little lower too   |

I like the Leupold DD mount myself. Positive things can be said for the mount variation allowed by the Weigand rail but the DD mount works well for me on my K frame S&W rimfire 6 inch barrel, full underlug, 617, 647, and 648

I'm thinking the Wiegland rail and an ultra dot on my S&W 16 6". A reflex micro is going on the 4"
