After converting some safe queens to cash, raiding the piggy bank, digging through the couch for loose change, and making a couple trips to the local blood bank, I finally go enough money to pick up a new Marlin 1894 Trapper 44 Mag. I replaced the original receiver mounted sight with a Henry short picatinny rail and mounted a Primary Arms 3X Microprism I had sitting around. The sight is kind of ugly and looks out of place, but it works. My eyeballs really have a hard time getting a clear sight picture even with peep sights. I also found a spare Skinner barrel mounted peep sight and put that on since backup sights are always good to have. The 1894 goes nicely with my 44 Mag Super Blackhawk Bisley. The worst part is I only have 25 rounds of 44 Mag to shoot. Time to get reloading. Pete
