I picked up a few boxes of these for the 500 S&W in the Big Horn Armory rifle. Got load data from Swift. It should be a performer. They did not have load data for this bullet in the 500 Wyoming Express. That would likely be another great combo. On the outside chance, does anyone have load data for these in the 500 Wyoming Express?

I’m looking forward to seeing how they perform, being so light. I know the Swift HP A Frame pistol bullets perform just like a magazine ad. I’ve only recovered 2, from an Africa trip, you could say they performed flawlessly.

I know you will, but if you choose to use this info, the usual work your way up caveat applies. . I have a 5" 500 JRH built by Jack on a Freedom Arms M83. 500 JRH and 500 WE virtual twins ballistically. I used the Hodgdon data shown on line for the 500 WE and Hornady's 350 gr JHP with the following results. 325gr Swift A Frame H110 Starline Cases Federal 210 primers Labradar 32.5gr H110 (65 deg F) Swift 325gr A Frame 1,276 fps (3 shots) 20 fps ES Horn 350gr JHP 1,336 fps (3 shots) 37 fps ES . 33.7gr H110 (55 deg F) Swift 325gr A Frame 1,327 fps (3 shots) 16 fps ES Horn 350gr JHP 1,368 fps (3 shots) 34 fps ES Previously I chronoed Fed 210s vs CCI 350s and there was no velocity difference (no guarantee pressure was same). Note: Max H110 35.0gr w/350 gr Horn JHP . . Hope that helps a bit Paul

As has been mentioned the JRH and WE are extremely similar,…..here is my load for my JRH. 34.5gr. H110, 1500fps from 8.375 FA555,…..35gr. was shared with me by another member as a similar load, and when I worked up and hit 1500fps. I stopped as 1500fps was my target velocity for that bullet at the time. Please work up from 10% less.

It`s pretty impressive what this bullet can do from a 500WE.... Blood from stag after taking 325 Swift from 500WE Remember calling this the "bleeder boar" after taking a 325 from WE..........

Yeah, but what does James know??? He’s from Jersey!!!……just in case that's….. Sarcasm. I’ve not been unimpressed with any Swift products yet. James photos look impressive, I’ve yet to run a 325AF into game yet, so I defer to James. I would be interested in performance on large game, as in 500+ pound. Elk, bear, eland, etc.

Based on experience with other pistol AF, and others examples of recovered bullets. I wouldnt hesitate to load some and go forth experience less if they proved accurate in my gun. The provided examples of bullets at the various impact velocities has proven accurate thus far.

If I remember correctly, Ken O'Neill took a Bison with the 350gr Horn from a .500 WE. Maybe he'll chime in.

I've seen two black bear taken with the A-frame in 44mag. They performed great.
