Didja ever want something that is way outside your wheelhouse and you have absolutely no reason WHY, other than like a kid, "I want it."

Welp, yesterday that something arrived at my LGS and I ran into town to get it.  It's a Mauser HSc in 7.65 Browining.  As a friend opined, "it's an interesting little piece."  After putting a couple magazines through it and familiarizing myself with it I have come to a conclusion.  The Walther PP is the better design.

Aesthetically pleasing.

I have no use for one and after the initial few mags I'd never shoot it. But they've always tempted me.

It's on my belt as I type this. For how long? Probably not very. I do intend to take the 5 little semi-auto's to my bench and wring them out, something I've only done with one of them. I did the unspeakable for me and bought a bunch of ammo for them. Historically one box would last a couple decades for those handguns.
