The first PPC guns I played with in the 80s were DAO with a soft trigger stop used to help stage the trigger. Reading and shooting, I determined that staging was not a good thing. So, when I had a PPC type gun built for NRA action in '87 we intentionally DID NOT install a trigger stop. Flash forward 5 years and in '92 we celebrated my cancer victory by modifying that gun and installed a hard stop. Posted a picture below. The three triggers on the way from Numrich for my NRA Precision revolver set will be ground smooth and polished slick. Most likely go internal with a stop. More pictures to follow.

Internal trigger stop, as in a rod in the trigger return spring, carefully stoned to stop the trigger just at the point of let off?

I did a couple of those. Back then it was a bit of fun for me to work on revolvers. Now, I prefer to shoot them. Kevin

Dropped a butcher block table on my foot or I' be grinding these. As soon as I can stand up for any length of time I'll get to it.

Dropped a butcher block table on my foot or I' be grinding these. As soon as I can stand up for any length of time I'll get to it. Ouch! Spent part of the day cleaning out my kiln, the rest of the day cleaning my shop. Herself was along to make sure I stayed true to task. Both tasks are done. I am tired and footsore! We are enjoying a wonderful bottle of Meritage while sitting on our porch, enjoying the cooler evening temperatures. Kevin

It has been a month... Foot still hurts but the Versa Vise and the Dremel tool did the job today.

Nice job! I like a nice DAO trigger face like those. Job well done. I need to order a narrow N frame trigger myself.
