I know it's goofy but so am I. I like loading and messing around as much as the guns themselves. For years I've purposely resisted the FA bug and stayed clear. Now I have one and another on order. The little .22 centerfire revolver got wonderful testing review on Gunblast and calmed my worries (thanks guys!) . I already have a rare vintage .224 Harvey K-chuk K-22 S&W so I'm going into this with open eyes. I can get a little better than 2,000 fps from the 6" and 30-35 gr. bullets. Real fun and cheap thrills. The FA promises a considerable jump in performance over that.
The FA I planned to be pretty normal looking from a distance. 7.5" tube, std. round bbl., red lam. grips. I did opt for the V-notch and a green fiber bead front sight. No one would suspect much is up till I poke in those little bottleneck REVOLVER ctgs. and bust a plume of flame from the muzzle with zero recoil. It should be a hoot. Didn't forget the "extra" 3# trigger option either. I'll play with scopes later.
If anyone has any experience in this area I'd love to hear it. Bob almost took all the fun out with all this detailed loads and instructions. I'll find a tangent someplace to explore.
