Are any of you fine folks aware of any resources on what countries allow handgun hunting? I’m aware that a few African countries allow it. Any info on Eurasia, South America, or Europe would be appreciated!

UNFORTUNEATELY, AN EXPERT ON SUCH MATTERS (MARK HAMPTON) RECENTLY PASSED. IN AFRICA, I WAS ABLE TO HANDGUN HUNT IN THE CAR, MOZAMBIQUE, ZIMBABWE AND SOUTH AFRICA BUT HAVE NOT BEEN ON SAFARI SINCE 2009.

My African handgun hunting experience is limited to RSA and Zimbabwe. Tanzania was a no-go. As Rey says, I know that Mozambique and CAR are OK, and Mark handgun hunted in Ethiopia.
In South America, I have used handguns a couple times in Argentina. I used them in Australia, but the law was later changed to disallow import of handguns for hunting. Using handguns already in that country has been done.
I used handguns in Spain and Hungary.
