Garmin chrono case

As mentioned in the other post I have one of the Garmin chrono's.

Well today,, as we were out & about,, I found a different outdoor sporting good store. A place called "Grady's" in Anderson SC.

I spied a hard plastic case that's a PERFECT fit for the Garmin. It came home with me. It's smaller than the case I had been using, and I like it a lot.

While it's a bit thicker than necessary,, the internal size works great.

I just use a small, J-frame sized, pistol rug for mine.

I got a small soft pouch from ArmyNavy store. I think Garmin could have developed a pouch but cost would have gone up. Several guys I know mount theirs on heavy tripods, so letting customers determine their own storage solutions has worked out.

I HAUL MINE AROUND IN ITS FACTORY BOX, EVERYTHING FITS IN IT, THE GARMIN, TRIPOD, RECHARGER, INSTRUCTIONS, THE WORKS.

Just one of the beautiful things about the Garmin is the compact size. I'm not going to place it in a large hard case. I picked up this nice case off eBay for my Garmin. It features ab O-ring waterproof seal and the case is lockable.

I quit going to Grady's a while back.  Every time I went, for some reason my pockets were way lighter on the way out.    I got my first Ruger revolver there, as well as my first New Haven Winchester M70.  Great store.

I looked at soft cases,, but decide I wanted to protect the Garmin with a hard case. I'm known to be a bit clumsy at times. I'd hate to damage it so a hard case is the ticket.
