Since each FA caliber and model has it's own letter prefix, I don't think it would be possible to have an accurate running list outside the factory.

Call em, they have been very helpful anytime I have called. To check the history of thier gun based on serial has also been very quick.

I called Freedom Arms today to obtain the history of a Model 83 revolver I have for sale. Lori answered the phone and pulled up the completion date in seconds. I was interested in learning when the previous owner had subsequently obtained custom modifications (e.g. octagon barrel, black grips, extra cylinder) at the factory. Lori said she wou0ld have to look through the work orders associated with the serial number and would email the info to me. I received her email within the hour detailing the work performed in 2005. She concluded the email by offering to answer any other questions I might have.
Outstanding service and Lori could not be more pleasant on the phone.

Lori is the GO-TO Person for serial number information. When publishing the FIVE SHOT JOURNAL I always wanted that sort of data base but... that information is something FA wanted to keep internal at the factory.
