Why are the levers on QD scope rings placed on the off-hand side of the rifle? Do they get in the way of bolt manipulation? What about on falling blocks and break actions, is it just standard practice to place the levers opposite the trigger hand?

Warne ring levers can be placed wherever you want, left or right?? Personally I like keeping the ejection ports of my guns clear of as much obstruction as possible. So I tend to place them on the right side but for a single shot any position would be ok, I guess.

Alaska arms makes both. I got the left levers to keep my extraction clear. On alaskaarms website they suggest right levers are for left handed guns.
