Morris Melani, alaskaarmsllc.com, makes some great Ruger parts upgrades. I ordered his QD mounts and +2 floorplate. Not cheap price but definitely high quality. I called him last week and talked about what I wanted. He got me fixed up. Of course I will have to shoot to check the rings out but they sure look great. The floor plate adds a unique style. I wasnt sure I would like the stainless but it really looks good. Not only was Morris very helpful by phone, you can tell he takes pride in his products. The parts ship in velvet like material bags and the rings came in a tin box. Probably not a great expense for him, but its a style flare that I appreciate. I installed relatively easily. His included instructions for the rings were a benefit and useful. The floorplate did not have instructions but its a simple matter to knock out one pin for the mount and move the follower spring. The alaskarms website is easy to find. Maybe a bit confusing to find everything. But Morris rattled off every part number I needed with ease. He really knows his products. These small American companies are great. I really like calling and getting direct help from the high source of knowledge. Im looking forward to using these. My rifle just amped up a level.

I have a few sets of his rings. Have two Hunter Blackhaeks set up with them.
Very high quality
Just follow the directions precisely
I need to order another set for a No 1 45-70 and have a 7-08 RSI I’m considering them for
IMO any Ruger with iron sights deserves these rings

Morris is a super guy, and makes great products. His rings are what I use on my Rugers. I several sets of the Rugers. And also a set of his CZ rings on a 458 Lott. I would have to classify him a perfectionist in his work.
