Seems like I’m the bearer of sad news once again. Mark Hampton passed away on the second day of a hunt in Africa. As many of you know, he was the author of the handgun hunting column in American Handgunner. He hunted all over the world and took many, many animals with a variety of handguns. Randy Miller mentioned it on another site and I couldn’t believe it. He was one of my favorite writers of all time due to his humble, down to earth delivery. It’s cliche, but he will be missed ! Condolences to his friends and family.
