Just did a search for SAs in .327 Federal over on GunBroker and came up with one...a Blackhawk for $2500...that's it...not one Single-Seven...no FAs...
All the S-7 models listed on the Ruger website are Distributor Exclusives...wonder where they all are...

THE 327 IS AN INCREDIBLE CARTRIDGE, FACTORY OR HANDLOAD, WISH MORE WERE MADE AND BY MORE MANUFACTURERS.

I like the cartridge too. Seems like it will never really catch on with the public. The new J frame S&W is a 32 Federal. But brass when you can and we revolver loons will keep it alive. Or maybe a movie character will use it to slay zombies and the public will appreciate it. ...tj

When the 327 first came out I had John Gallagher build me one on a single six 32 mag and I used it in gophers but it moved on to someone else. I have Fermin’s dual cylinder 327/32-20 light weight but I’ve never even installed the 327 cylinder yet. It just eats the snappy 32-20 loads.

Shortages,,,, HA!
Exactly why,, I tell folks; "If you see something, and want it,, buy it when it's available,,, otherwise you may not find it later."
This is why I have a few guns that many consider very desirable,, yet have become collectable or harder to find w/o paying a LOT!!!!!!
(Try finding a Ruger Super GP-100 in 9mm. One sold recently on GB for $6500.00.)
The .327's are not easily found,, but a little careful hunting,, and a few WTB ads in several places could likely scare one up. Or,, once Ruger catches up with a few things,, another distributor run may appear.

I have 8 32's (I think). I want to send the Single 7 7.5" 327 to Bowen to have a Nimrodito made. That would be fun. I am a little jealous of that blued 327 with the brass grip frame. Or maybe I should look at one for Ronnies souped up 38's....
But then it would not be a 32. 😁

Well, I have done my level best to be a good home to as many of them as I could find. They and the 32H&Rs are my most reloaded , most shot calibers. But, I have found the 30 carbine BH to cover a lot of the same ground and there is a LOT of them around. A little more finicky to load for, but if I was havin trouble finding a 327 or you just want a big ole Blackhawk sized gun the 30carb can scratch that itch nicely.

We just saw a bunch of new .44 Special Bisley flattops. So maybe Ruger is catching up, and will get around to making some .327's? I've got a Single Seven but I'd be good for a Blackhawk, if one turned up at a fair price.

Honestly, I would consider building a whole nother sixgun around that second cylinder. How fine would that be?!

It can all move back Texas if you want Chief.

It can all move back Texas if you want Chief. That sixgun is a hammer and it would be a mistake to let it go. I wish I could afford to get it back. Maybe someday it might happen but in the meantime I’m happy you have it. There could be no better place for it.
