At some point in the past 15 years I picked up a pound of HS-7. It lists a single load each .45 Colt, .44 Mag and 10mm on the label but the Hodgdon website doesn't list anything but shotgun recipes for HS-7. I haven’t been able to find anything on loaddata.com either.
I believe I’ve read it was replaced by Longshot. If so, is the load data interchangeable?
Thanks!

A specific cartridge you want it for ? Before I start digging.

I suppose that information would be helpful!
.38, .357, .44 Special and .45ACP since I’m either loading them already or about to start loading them.
Thanks!

I see limited data in my Speer #10 and a Hodgden manual. You start seeing it in 32-20 , and larger cases, etc.. back in a bit..

Ok, H for Hodgden, S for Speer. 38spec, S 158 jacketed mag primer, 7.3grs, 8.5grs is +P. H same 8.5gr for 158-160gr +P. Gonna stick to nom weight bullets.. To 357, H mag primer and 10gr max. S mag primer and a wow 12.1 max ! To 44spec, S 240gr mag primer 9gr max. H no data. 45acp H odd 260gr max 9.3grs. no S data. A clarification pic can be sent by text, if you have a more specific question ?

HS7 is my go-to for +P 9MM MP HP135gr. Most accurate and best velocity. Hodgdon Data center online has the reloading info.

Hi there I think that hs-7 is same as Win 571? Not sure if there was ever any data out there for that as it was considered a slow shotgun powder but maybe??

HS6 is just a little faster than HS7, so any HS6 data should be safe.
