Cabela's had a deal on an inland 30 carbine at 900.00. At Tualatin Or. I been wanting one for a long time. Now I have one. Be a week or so before I can pick it up. No collector piece but it looks to be all there. Bayonet lug adjustable rear sight. Looks like it may well have seen action. 1944 build. Something strange is going on at Cabela's. I was up in Lacy Wa. for work and they had a couple screaming deals. I nearly bought a shooter grade colt Woodsman match target for 450.00. And a Model 28 in great shape for the same 450.00. Something tells me there is a big payment coming due, or they need cash to buy something. I got 200 Fresh Starline cases, now I need order some dies and bullets and get some small rifle primers...tj

Well: I went up to Bass Pro in Colorado Springs to do the Transfer paperwork on a #1 bee, In the case there were two of the poorest Woodsman I have seen in a long time. The first was a series 1 match they wanted 1900 , It sure was not worth it. The second was a series 3 TM looked as if it had been parkerized , you could still see rust pits and they still want 1600. Well it did remind me I hadn't shot my like out of the factory series 2 TM in a while ,so 50 rounds , while I'm trying make something workable out of a Henry slide 22 mag. I not buy it again. I guess there were some #1 made but I see the price is up to 2300. That makes feel good about some of prices I paid. Have a nice day. Don K

Well: Three or four years ago I was in a NH LGS where I had an American Pro 9mm on order, A gentleman was looking at an M1 carbine the store had for sale,
He passed so I grabbed it, The price was only $400 so it was a good deal. I had want one to pair with a three screw no prefix blackhawk carbine. Have a nice day Don K
