Nice leather, and they carry well. I carry a 4” S&W M69 in one just like that. Very versatile too…strong side, cross draw, even IWB with a little modification.

I love the Model 15. The lines and proportions look and feel right.
I have a 15-3 4" that had a taller Patridge front sight installed by someone, and another 15-3 with a 2" barrel. I always thought the 2" 15 was an odd duck, but it sure shoots well.

When I was stationed in the Aleutian Islands I purchased my first center fire revolver. I wanted a model 19, but someone beat me to it, so I settled for a model 15. I was never sorry. It was a five screw and the most perfect revolver I ever owned. Economical to load for, easy to hit with, easy packing, extremely accurate, and a delight to shoot. I no longer keep .38 specials in my line-up. If I did, it would start with a model 15. I do still shoot a model 18. Today, a model 24 has taken it's place.

Those are very nice sixguns. I have the stainless version. The 67 is really neat also. I don't have one, but always keep an eye out. I could do a lot worse than a 4" 67 as a "do everything from now on" handgun. I wonder if they ever sneaked out a 2" 67. It's doubtful, but S&W being S&W, you can't rule anything out.

Back in the 70's we carried Model 15's as duty weapons. When we went to Model 19's I bought my service revolver....then foolishly traded it. However, about 5 years ago I inherited my late FIL's Model 15 that was his service revolver when he was a deputy sheriff back in the 1960's. So I still have one.

I love stainless for the bulk shooter. That said, there is nothing easier on the eye than a nice blued sixgun. The model 15 has the looks.

As a catch & release collector the past 50+years I've owned a Lot of S&W revolvers going back to my first 4" Model 19 about 1978. That revolver (with my initials stamped in the sideplate because I "was never going to sell it") has been gone since the 1980's I needed the money to pay rent.. About 2005 I was at a Gun Show with my best friend and found a clean Combat Masterpiece at a fair price. I didn't have the $500 asking price i my pocket and borrowed it from Tim till we got back to the truck. That one has stayed in my safe ever since and might be the last S&W I ever sell(?). Here it is with a Tyler adapter, a half-flap, lined holster and a pair of custom, high horn Magna grips I made for it a decade ago. Tim's gone but not his memory, or the CM. All perfect in my mind.
