I have used H-322 propellant in my 7TC chambered pistols for over 40 years, and now it's nowhere to be found* Read on the net that it's not available anymore* Anyone have any idea of why this is? Thanks in advance*

New powders replacing it maybe? No "green" way of producing it? Not up to international standards? But, even the "new" powders are impossible to get. Enduron, all the rage 8-10 years ago. Worked up some loads with 4451 for a trip to Africa in '18, now I can scratch those outta the recipe book, haven't seen those around in a long time. Same thing with Ramshot Magnum and Hunter, I started using them because at the time, they were, available. Now haven't seen those in quite sometime. Now their pushing Grand, Why so that can disappear too? Not helping you with your 322 I know, just felt like a rant would make me feel good. Dont even want to start on the pricing. IMR 4350 a staple for alot of reloaders, priced out of sight, seen it as high as $75 a pound. Reloader series, when you can find it, well IF, $60+ a lb. Hodgdon the monopoly on powder Co. is making money somewhere. Hmmm But, Powder is available, a better scenario than not to be found anywhere. you just have to start with something new.

You may want to try Accurate Arms LT-32. It's close in burn rate and is even more temperature stable when tuning. Works great in my 6 PPC. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Chasing perfection five shots at a time"

lockhart.... also, if you have IMR 4198 or IMR/H4895, these are silhouette-accurate single-base,stick powders in the 7mm Thompson/Center Ugalde. The 7TCU works with numerous medium burn powders. Had excellent accuracy from Accurate 2460 double-base ball with Sierra 150 and 160 boat tail match bullets from a couple of stock T/C 10” and 14” barrels. As a rule I don’t care for 7mm boat tails in T/C Contender barrels, but in this case they flew straight enough for tournament. David Bradshaw

Thanks, David* I found a full can of 4895, which is what I assumed you actually meant, and will try that when and if I get to shoot silhouette again! Since my post, I fell coming up the steps on my front porch, landing on my right shoulder, and tore my right rotator cuff! This is a severe injury, and will take awhile to heal* My silhouette shooting might be over for this year, if my physical therapy doesn't work* Thanks to all who responded to my post*
