our group drew bear tags on year 5. we have hunted this unit in 2019 and 2020 and are 100% on bears so far. we have three hunters this year and one of the locals who has a land lease has seen good numbers even with the report of more wolves in the area.
Anyone else draw tags after a long wait?

Pennsylvania where we play at bear hunting sells as many bear tags as they can. BUT..no bait, no dogs, short season, etc.. They keep success rate in single digits. Congrats to you, a northwoods hunt would be nice.

Here in NC,, we don't have to worry about a drawing. We can buy a tag easily. But success,, while we have plenty of bears,, it's not easy,,,,!
