45-70 case is turning out to be one fine moon clip holder!

Like them best when they are loaded and ready to go.

I’m a 4.0 bullseye guy with Berrys plated 200gr swc in my JM! Glad you’re starting to come around with the moon clip thing! lol Only problem with moon clips is I end up going through lots of ammo! Wait..that’s a good thing!

Wait..that’s a good thing! If y'all are not aware of them, a guy on Ebay called CHM makes nice wood load blocks for moon clip revolver ammo, and 5-Star makes some out of aluminum. When I take my .45 and .357 using clips I load them up at home instead of at the range.

Been using plastic segmented “ Plano” boxes from harbor freight, holds 22 loaded moon clips! www.harborfreight.com/large-water-resistant-storage-container-56578.html?_br_psugg_q=plastic+box

Don't laugh at the "zombie green" I got them really inexpensively from someone who was more concerned with style than functionality.

FWIW if I were not feeding hungry 1911s I'd use moon clips at best once every 5 or 6 blue moons. For 45 ACP revolvers my Auto Rim brass works best.
