tradbow.com/identifying-the-sex-of-an-elk-from-its-tracks/ Living in Virginia, I've only seen elk once when I was in Montana for a week, geez, years ago. tho' there are some elk in Virginia due to a re-introduction program. but I've not hunted them. So, I haven't seen for my self the evidence of this tip, but hey, it's from a well respected bow hunter. Go get 'em!

That is pretty cool ! We have an elk ranch across the hill from our camp and escapees have left tracks on our property. A friend has acreage in Cameron county Penn and hour east of mine, he has elk on his property, they roam across, he doesn't have THAT much acreage. But I sent him this link you shared. THANK YOU.
