My Horvath L’il Gun in 41 Special likes the 265 grainers.

That 265gr mold is no good. You should send it to me to dispose of…

Miha cut a heavy weight 265-ish mold for the 41 Maggie. I have one, haven’t shot it yet, can’t even remember his mold number. Wow, that wasn’t even worth posting, lol

I have the MIHA mold, 265/41 caliber and it shoots like a laser beam. I got the gas checked version. In my FA83 and custom 5shot Ruger Bisley, I shoot 17.5 grains of 2400, ** to hot for stock guns** but would never shoot them in my S&W mountain gun. That bullet definitely elevates the performance of the 41 round using it in a 10” FA83.

Just trying to see where guys are going with a the 41 Mag in a FA-83, as I just started that journey. -Freeze

My 2 hunting 41’s are both 5 shot guns one Custom Ruger Bisley, one FA83. I know these heavy bullet loads are pretty light in these guns. I wouldn’t worry about a 41 Redhawk or SRH, but I wouldn’t shoot these in a S&W, stock Blackhawk, Taurus, charter arms, etc. A 215 grainer at normal speeds is fine all day in the stock guns. I use the maximum load in my hunting revolvers that produce good accuracy, until the grouping opens up, than I’ll back off 1/2 grain or so to use the most accurate loads, at given speeds.

Took a Gemsbok with my 10" FA using that bullet, broke both shoulders, exited & I think it landed in Mozambique.

I don’t think you can overload a 5 shot 41 mag in a FA83 or 5 shot custom Blackhawk. A super or standard Redhawk in 41 are built like tanks as well. You would have to try and load to damage one.
