The Resin Ivory is much easier to work with than those wood grips pictured. That wood was very hard and heavy, the ivory is consistent throughout the slab and sands well. It sure does make a pile of shavings and dust compared to wood. It might just be because its light color makes it easier to see. I hadn't made a set of grips in 14 years or so and these are the first one-piece grips I ever made, so the workability of this product is only my opinion. That's a darn good opinion and thank you for your input. |
