Somewhere on here someone posted that Swift AF handgun bullets were going to be unobtainable due to lack of raw materials or some such info.
I spoke with Mr. ?? The owner while at the NRA show in Dallas, very nice man and fun to talk with. I asked him straight up, about the rumor I’d read. His response was he had just signed a deal with Remington and Federal for handgun AF bullets so,…NO!!! They were not going away. He went on to say,….. why would he stop making bullets he struggles to keep stocked due to their demand??? They are money makers!!! He explained raw material did get tough to find and now good employees are tough to find, but all that will get sorted. There are no planned omissions from the Swift line up. I explained I had just bought 400, .41AF bullets and if needed I’d buy another 400 if they were going to be eliminated. He said thank you for the purchase but don’t worry they will continue to be made.
So, despite rumors or local gun store experts Swift will continue making AF handgun bullets. Which since Nosler no longer makes Partition handgun bullets, I feel the Swift AF is the best jacketed handgun bullet going for big game.
