Neat. I've been keeping an eye out for H&R .22's for ages but they just don't seem to turn up in my neck of the woods.

Nickel finish, dovetail front adj. rear, wood grips and a swing out cylinder ! That my friend, is as nice as they come from H&R.

Very nice!
I'm a sucker for those guns. I think they're pretty good lookin' and the ones I've had shot very well.

I have several different variations of these H&R guns, but this one so far, is the most accurate one. Horrible DA trigger, great SA trigger, and very consistent with several different ammo brands.

Horrible DA trigger, great SA trigger, and very consistent with several different ammo brands. Calling H&R guns double action was really just a cruel joke to get you to try doing it. You will fail. They are really more of an isometric finger exerciser than a double action. In the past I tried to get a livable double action out of them and failed. The geometry of the parts just sucks and you best not try and lighten the leaf springs they are full of. That leaves the DA as strictly "Last Ditch".

LOL!
I bought a 949 for my wife in the early eighties and it was very accurate and had a great trigger. We must have had that gun for two years before I realized it was a double-action!
No swing-out cylinder, ejector-rod. I thought it was a SA.
