Just bought this Star Model BM 9mm for a super low price. Aside from the wear to the finish, gun locks up tight and everything function as it should. Will become the new P&C Ranch gun.

The Stars seem to be solid guns. I have a Star Modelo Super in 9mm Largo that I converted to fire 38 super. It will feed and fire everything from 380 to 38 super. The 380 doesn't have enough power to cycle the slide.

Put 100 rounds through it today. Shoots just fine.

Star pistols are solid. I have a gussied up PD in 45acp. It’s finicky though as it has a tight chamber and will function well with everything provided it’s sized to a minimum.

Had a lightweight BKS model about 20 years ago....ran 100%. Only reason I sold it is because I prefer the Commander... Otherwise it would have made a great carry piece...

I have a sweet spot for those old Star's. Great handguns that just work.
