Been chasing S&W Model 16s for about six months and get bids pushed above 1700. Finally scored on a nice example with a 6" barrel and looks clean. Wish it was a 4" but cheap and everything ya want don't go together too often. So the wait begins...
Just ordered brass in from Starline and got a 90 gr RCBS Cowboy mold RNFP, MP molds in 100, 125 and Sledgehammer but was contemplating a HB WC from MP. Intend to shoot mouse fart loads out of it to take it easy on arthritic hands.
Any load ideas/powder combos for 90-115 weight class in the 750-950 range? Was looking at Bullseye and Tight Group. I've seen 6shot post about 3.0 of WST but can't find any data. Any ideas?

3.3-3.6 w231/hp38 with a 100gr class bullet shoots nicely in my 32H&R Ruger.
Going to be trying it in a Taurus 761 next

I recommend a subscription to Loaddata.com. I use mine alot and it's good reliable data.

I don't have the data in front of me but I have a cache of the Hornady 90gr swaged bullets that when paired with 2.3gr of 231 (if memory serves me) makes for a reloadable 22. I used to shoot shotgun shells off tree branches with it. Then you can step it up with the loads you'll find in the link above, the load data site or the articles Brian Pearce put out on the different tiers of reloading a 32.
If I could only have 2 cartridges it would be a 45 and 32.

Haha. We can talk about President of what later. I thought about this more and I guess to be more accurate I would say only two calibers which would be 32 and 45. And then when you got to that if I could only have two cartridges it would be a toss up between 32 H&R versus 327 and then 45 Colt versus 454.

That's why I'm not president. And if you at least picked a dual cartridge 45 revolver then you'd still have that 1911 capability. I bought a 45 Colt worked over by Tyler and didn't even realize until long after I bought it that it came with a second cylinder for 45 ACP. Bonus.

Have one, but 1911 is my all time favorite iron. A Linebaugh dual cylinder is a good thing.
