I HAVE A 6" 1st GEN COLT ANACONDA IN 45 COLT THAT I HAD JRH DO SOME WORK ON, INCLUDING FITTING A TIGHT RECHAMBERED 44 MAG TO 45 COLT, WITH PROPER THROATS, CYLINDER TO. I HAVE HAD IT FOR CLOSE TO 20 YEARS AND AM JUST NOW GETTING TO SORT IT OUT. REVOLVER CAME FROM COLT WITH GRIPPER PACHMAYRS. I AM LOOKING FOR PACHMAYR PRESENTATION GRIPS AND/OR WOOD, NON-FINGER GROOVED, TARGET GRIPS. THE 1st GEN ANACONDA AND THE TROOPER MARK V SHARE THE SAME GRIP FRAME. I LIKE PLUMP TARGET GRIPS AND THE FEW I HAVE FOUND DO NOT LOOK PLUMP. ANY IDEADS, HELP, GRIPS FOR SALE, etc. WOULD BE APPRECIATED.
SORT'a A SELF HI-JACK, BUT WHEN I CHANGE STYLE OF GRIPS ON A REVOLVER I OFTEN NEED TO TWEAK THE SIGHTS AND RE-SIGHT IN. AM I ALONE ON THIS? BY CHANGING THE GRIPS ON THIS ANACONDA I HOPE TO MOVE MY POI TO THE RIGHT AS THIS GUN HAS A shoots way too left MALADY.

I’m pretty sure Culina can do a set of nice target grips for you. I just got a beautiful set of holly targets for my Dad’s Python.
Email or call Jennifer at Culina. She doesn’t bite.
That’s what I know….

More often than not a change in grips results in a change for POI for me. Mine usually changes elevation more than windage.

CULINA's WEBSITE DOES NOT LIST GRIPS FOR THE GEN I ANACONDA/V GRIP FRAME COLTS.
FOUND A BEAT UP PAIR OF SMOOTH, PLUMP LOOKING TARGET "V" GRIPS ON EBAY. THE SELLER WAS ASKING $99 (+ TAXES AND SHIPPING), I OFFERED $45 AND THEY ARE THEIR WAY TO ME. WILL SEE.

The Pachs on mine got real "sticky" over time. So much so that I decided to replace them. While waiting for the single finger groove Hogues out of Pau Ferro, I found a nylon Hogue Monogrip on Ebay. When I received the wood grips, they cracked in short order after a very few shots. Hogue made good on a replacement, after asking for a picture of the crack and its location. Didn't make much difference in POI.
