From what I understand, Tyler T grips are still available(ish) but wait times and communication can be problematic. I have seen similar products that are polymer but those do not interest everyone. I came across what may be a more accurate representation of the original Tyler T design. They are aluminum with the brass tabs, as they should be. I ordered one and it fits pretty well. I do not have an original to compare it to but it looks the same to me. See eBay link below. It is from Robertson Trading Post. I apologize if this is common knowledge. www.ebay.com/itm/276058932869?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=wxXKgg-xQzm&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=zvxxdxu0RjO&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPYI will try to post some pictures soon of it on my Pre Model 15, K38 Combat Masterpiece.

Problematic is a word for it. I did a pretty stupid thing and sent $$ for 5 t-grips about a year ago. AllI know is that they cashed my check not long after I sent it.
I knew they were difficult to deal with but didn’t think it would be this bad. Well, actually not difficult at all, there is NO dealing with them…..
Maybe I’ll get a surprise some day…..

I bought one of these recently and I'm satisfied with it. They are advertised as fitting K/L frames, but mine is on a 22-4 and doesn't have any weird gaps. I've never handled a Tyler T, so can't give comparisons between the two.

I have had a couple from the e-bay seller above. Pretty correct as far as I can tell compared against the two originals I have. I did use a super fine file in a couple areas to get them to snug up a little better but it wasn't much. Overall I was happy with the purchase.

I am not sure who makes them for Robertson Trading but they look okay. Grip adapters have been around for enough time that any and all patents have run out.
They have been made or marketed by many firms, Mershon, Pachmyar, Tyler, and S&W have all offered their version. S&W had two different ones.
Tyler is still around. I get the impression it is a sideline for whoever owns it and they wait to get a number of orders before pouring the adapters and finishing them. Not sure, but considering the vastly different wait times, that is my take.
B K Grip Adapters are a resin product (as were Pachmyar, Mershon, and S&W). They are a decent product. And they ship soon after they receive an order.I have one and it is on one of my N frames.

I'm pretty happy with my BK Grip adapter, fits good and stays put with no wiggle or shifting.

My latest Tyler T Grip, a gift from a fellow shooter, This is the first bronze colored adapter I have seen in the flesh. I have shown it on my birth year 45 ACP Model 1050 Target Revolver. It also looks nice on my edc. Kevin
