Anyone have a few images of Barranti's High Country Companion while wearing it?? Yes, I am aware of the 12 page Barranti thread. I've skimmed through all of them. Many of the pics were lost or I am unable to see them. I discovered one of Dick's pics (apostrophy is correctly placed) but that's all.
Anyone else have any images of it being worn and deployed? Many images of Ruger Bisleys (which will be my order for a 5.5"). But I would like to get a better handle of how it rides and where it rides. Straps seem very minimal, which can be a great thing...if it hangs correctly.
I am still nimble and active and shed hunt, chase hounds, chase bird dogs, run game cams, etc. I'd like to just toss on a shoulder rig over wool, hard shell, T-shirt or whatever and Rock n Roll. I wear a back pack often and don't want anything jacking with my waist belt or should straps.
Tall task to check every one of the boxes, but....
Also, anyone run a NW Mtn Companion cross draw with a red dot? Yes, different deployment strategy.
But I also have a need on occasion to run a belt holster, yet still get full use of my legs and hips for hiking and deadfall crossing, etc. Most X Draw kinda miss the mark

You should also check out Randy's (Big Bore) chest rig. It rides a little higher so it's out of the way for back pack and bino straps. It's also really comfortable and very high quality. I love my holsters from him.
As for the belt holster, Randy also made a half pancake style that I use while working around the place.

Not to cut Randy or Mike out of a sale, but I'd suggest you look at the Diamon-D Guide's choice chest rig as well. I have a couple of them and most recently had and one built for our new 3.5" .32 H&R Mag Single Six that has an RW grip Frames Potato Judge jr. GF on it. It's a very well built rig and rides well even with a pack. Would post a pic, but need help with that...Somebody?? I can email a pic if you can post it.
BTW, for most field use we find the chest rig to be our best option for both comfort and convenience; hard to beat one!

There is no round-the-body stamp on the High Country , which I see as a necessity. It is available on the Northwest Hunter. Your needs may differ from mine.

I run a Kenai kydex chest holster on all my Lego guns. Huge fan. Run them on a dirt bike, hiking, hunting, etc.
Real metal deserves something better.

Kenai chest rig most of the time when doing ranch chores, use them for my plastic guns, N-frames and BH . I also use Diamond D chest rigs , this is mostly for hunting as I find them easier to take on and off with no need to adjust straps when dealing with many different layers of cold weather gear.

Simply Rugged also has a chest system that uses regular holsters, give Rob's site a look. I don't have one but am considering one.

I don't have the pics you need, but I'll echo wishing Doc showed his various shoulder rigs being worn. It's not always intuitive what the differences between models is.

Have owned Diamond D, Barranti and Back Country leather, for a true and secure chest rig I much prefer my Back Country chest rig. The Diamond D allows too much rotation for me, the Barranti doesn’t wear as a true chest rig for me. The Back Country wears secure with no rotation or slop, is attached to your torso at both extreme ends of the holster and can be worn high on the chest to avoid binocular bashing. It is a chest rig not a breast rig, although you can wear it lower if you prefer. I carry my SRH 5” in it all day and can wear it under a fleece jacket when it’s cold. Get it with either a hammer thong or stud and strap attachment rather than a snap attached strap and you have a secure and silent attachment point. Mine bounced off of my truck hood and tumbled in a pasture going 15 miles an hour or so and never came undone.

Trapr....almost got cranky. Maybe 3+ Backcountry leather dudes on FB. Did find the right one. And yes....his chest rigs do look to ride very different or "proper" Much more sternum and horizontal, rather than love handle and verticle. I gave his a shout. See if he gets back to me.
