actually those are pretty plain for Olive wood, I'm sure the makers quality of fitting is great.. I have some nicer stuff here, I'd like to send out & have some grips made... & if you look at fancy Olive wood cutting boards & serving trays, it's gorgeous wood... those trays could be cut up for grip blanks... m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61DmnfzEJKL._AC_SL1500_.jpgmail ordering would be a risk to get the good grain, but someone had a table at the local gun show, of Olive wood crafts, & the grains were outstanding on the pieces they had at the show... so buying them in person was the way to go...

I actually got a gorgeous set of Olive wood Roper conversions for an N frame from Altamont. Generally I feel the wood I get on factory type grips isn't very impressive but these are very nice. I love that bisley set too.

I got outbid in the last 5 seconds…. That sucks, I thought that was all the auction sites are for . . . it's certainly how they usually work for me.

For you newer guys, Cary was THE "go to" guy. I only got one set from him. They are however rams horn that are polished to a diamond shine and they are spectacular.
