Have you ever had a ruger employee doing “R&D” post their project in here? Or see it on any forum? More likely than not something is not quite as it seems.

I wondered about all this too. I recall being told long ago that Ruger factory employees are not allowed to identify themselves on any open forums. And by his post saying he was a factory employee,, AND posting pictures of a gun claiming to be a factory gun,, yet not a PRODUCTION firearm may be a good reason he got stuff deleted. I was told some factory people do cruise the forums,, but can't participate. Maybe another employee saw this and it got corrected?  ? |

THE OP, AN ALLEGED RUGER EMPLOYEE, AT RUGER's FACILITIES, BUILT A PERSONALIZED, CUSTOM SRH 454 AND PUT MRI SIGHTS ON IT. ALL I CAN FIGURE IS HE GOT HIS BUTT CHEWED OUT AND HAD TO DELETE.

What was it about this one that made such a splash? The gun itself was a good concept that appeared very well done and could easily be adapted as a factory offer. I've never liked the looks of the SRH nor have I ever thought I may want one, but should the factory offer one like that, I will buy one in each chambering they offer it in. |
