Finally ran my hunting load through the chronograph. 7.5" factory BFR 15.5gr wc820 200gr MP rcbs clone Powder coated and checked Nickel brass CCI SPM 1460fps average with thrown charges. I did have one go 1508 but it was an anomaly. I have backed down from 16.5gr because of sticky extraction. Im sure 16.5gr is in the mid to high 1500's. Anyway, not much benefit to the 360 or 357 max if you are just chasing velocity with heavy bullets. 357 brass is cheap and should be infinitely available. It would be interesting to see if a 10" barrel offered anymore velocity. I also have some wc297 which should be quite a bit slower than this wc820 and i think it would also offer more velocity at less pressure.

10" barrel would be sweet....wonder how that would do in silhouette shooting
