Went to the gun show yesterday mainly looking for reloading supplies and maybe a handgun scope. Spied the 627 v comp fiirst but kept looking. Then a 617 jumped up and said buy me. So i paid the guy. The wife was with me and said you may as well go get the other o ne so i didn't hesitate. Did get to shoot the 617 and looks like its a keeper. The v comp remains unfired . I know its a sin to own a gun a day and a half and not fire it. Probably scope the 617 with one of the weaver scopes i bought a while back ane the other will go on the 657. Cheap practice all summer. The v comp will get a red dot. The wife is a keeper too. She doesn't say too much about my gun buying.

My wife doesn't say much about my gun buying either, there was that one time , when she said "if you buy another gun, I want a new appliance" ,so, I just bought the whole kitchen suit

Look at a micro red dot instead of a scope.

Well still didn't shoot the 357 the wind was out of the north probably 15 to 20 mph. The wife and me went muddy bank fishing and ended up with 29 catfish after work today.
