I checked the Clark's website. It's not showing they are rechambering cylinders right now.
I have a spare cylinder that is too long for my gun. I'm considering facing it off to fit with minimal gap and rechambering it for the Rowland. Wouldn't want a 30,000psi load to find it's way into my Vietnam era 1911.
Suppose it's an excuse to buy a reamer.

I got to try some new loads with more powders this weekend. Unfortunatly the chronograph doesn't lie. I got data for CFE because someone decided to pressure test it in the 460 with the 240gr. On the bright side it is ragged hole accurate. It is super clean burning. On the dark side it maxed out at 1147 fps. Most loads in the Ruger have exceeded the velocity of the auto loader loads. The highest pressure tested with CFE was 35,000psi which is my self imposed limit with this gun. After seeing a ragged hole in the target I was really hoping to see numbers in the 1270fps range but it wasn't to be. I have a couple more powders to go. It is really just icing on the cake since I have a workable load with power pistol. Shortly I will be testing a 265 grain cast WFN. The more I shoot this gun the more I like it.
