Yo 2 Dawgs! How come you didn't offer us that Raptor you sold on GB? Seems like it was a 6.5. You didn't like that 204 Ruger based Wildcat? Never had any problems with my TCU family of barrels but I have personally never been comfortable with the rimless cartridge in a TC. I have a 25 and 6mm Bullberry Improved that are based on the 30-30 case... Of course I have the 30 and 357 Herrett that is required of all TC nuts... A 378 GNR is in the works! I am expecting the 405 Win based Reeder Wiildcats to kindle a new fire for TC based wildcats here in the deep south vortex...

It went down the road, I had too many simular barrels. I have a 7mm GNR and a 25-35 barrel that bracketed the 6.5 Raptor and both offered more or similuar power. Besides, you still owe me a pair of drawers.....

Good to hear that you haven't soured on the TC Concept... That 7mm GNR one of the 405 based GNR cartridges? That 338 on the current sale list has me would tight... 338 is the next SD/BC sweet spot after 6.5.. Am currently seasoning your drawers....

Hmmmm 7mm GNR in based on 30-30 case..... Don't think I have anything 284 bore on a TC beyond a 7mm TCU.. I just may need something. Thinking my next 7mm wildcat will be on the 405 case...

I had a couple 6.5 TCU. Got a .240 Raptor on the .204 case now. 13' I think. Pretty fun and a boost over the .223 TCU's. The advent of very light 6mm bullets and the fact that the 6mm TCU was a bit rare made the .240 Raptor irrestible. I get 2600-2700 fps for a 70 gr. to 2300+ for a 100 gr. hunting Spire Point. Want to try those 55 gr. next.
