Govenor McMaster still has to sign it, but it is still not 100%. Maybe the legislature will fix it in the next session.

Was getting texts from my Lil sister in S.C. last evening. She carries, sometimes, she teaches law and finds it confusing.

Louisiana just passed it too. As a middle finger to opposing crowd, it goes into effect July 4th...

Good deal. Is that now 29 of the 54 states?

NC should be next, but I don't give it much chance of passing without several go-arounds in the legislature. Plus, we have a governor who won't sign it. But we'll be SC residents by then.

Apparently,, it's Mostly "Open Carry" is now legal. And carrying concealed still requires a permit. If what I've been trying to uncover is correct.
As for NC,, As a BOD member for the NC Rifle & Pistol Assoc. I can say we are working towards getting Constitutional Carry here. By the time we get a bill put together & sponsored etc,, we expect that we'll have a new governor.

Pennsylvania is open carry legal, concealed carry requires a permit. I prefer to open carry as I find IWB uncomfortable. However, many people are not comfortable when they see someone open carrying in stores, bars, movie theaters and so on. It's not common practice even in the rural area where I live.
Last fall I saw a 30 something women in Wal-Mart, with a kid in a stroller and she had a holster on her thigh just above the knee. I noticed a lot people giving her weird looks. I complimented her on her choice. That made her smile.
I live about ten miles outside of a small town and it's been peaceful until last few years. Last week we had a fifteen year old kid murdered in TGI Fridays parking lot. He was from a different town. A few days later there was revenge shooting. House got shot up but nobody hurt. I'll stick with open carry.

Hawaii passed the law last year and is being sued for dragging their feet on fully implementing it. It is taking over 6 months to process an application.
