My first shot out of the gun. DOA at 45 feet. One of my RSOs called it a little high and a little right.

I picked up a used one last year. So far I've installed replacement springs from TK Custom, a fiber front sight from Dawson and Pachmayr Compac grips. I still need to find an IWB holster for it. Chuck, here is a link to an IWB holster that I bought for a model 60 3" Smith. I've been happy with it, though I foolishly parted with my model 60 long ago, I use the holster for my Smith 442 now. www.donhume.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=65_5&products_id=34

The 60-15 full lug is a great companion for many environments. It's accuracy lifts J frames to a much higher level for most shooters. All J frames are desirable to have and to hold but the 60-15 is one of my favorites.

One heck of a usefully revolver. I would not shoot a lot of magnums in it. But on hike I would put some in for. pint blank black bear defense. ...tj

3” J frames are great little guns. Mine are a 60 and 63. The 60 is a 357, I shoot 38 +P’s. Accidentally loaded some 357 158 JHP one time. 1st shot cut my thumb pretty badly, but I kept on and shot the remaining 4. Haven’t done that again. I do have some Speer 135 357 short barrel Gold Dot loads to try out. My 3” J’s both fit great in the same holsters! The 63 now has matching wood grips like the 60 The IWB holster is a Milt Sparks for a 3” 60 The OWB holster is an old Bianchi I’ve had over 40 years, originally for a Charter 44 Bulldog (long gone)

Ah Stan! For the old days of a couple dozen Freedom Arms guns laid out on a full stair case! You are proof that a guy truly can appreciate guns of many stripes.😄 I remember that photo!!

Bought the early version in 38 Special (I believe there were 5000 made prior to the 357 chambering) and was impressed how well she shot Remington`s .38 P+ LSWC-HP ammo from the bench at 25..............

Have got the Pachmayer Compact size grip on my two. The ones with the full backstrap and small pinky-finger groove...they are ok to shoot with .357s...
Still have a set of Pachmayer Presentation full size grips that turn it into a square butt...haven't tried them yet.
Just picked up a 60-4 .38 Special like James's gun from a friend who is downsizing...have had two before and are great shooters...

Picked up a 3" 60-15 a couple of years ago. It's a great hiking, hunting, fly fishing companion. Often I carry it with Buffalo Bore 158 gr LSWCHP 38's, but have shot quite a few magnums through it, including Buffalo Bore 180 gr cast 357's. Those shot very accurately, but there sure is some recoil! Great little revolver, particularly for when I'm enjoying the great outdoors. Regards, Guy
