The price seems pretty set from what I've seen. I have a Graf and son "dealer" account, and when logged in to it, I can't even find the Garmin, doesn't show up. On the regular retail site it does. If I put it in the cart, then log in I can buy it, but at no savings.

I just borrow my sons They sure work great! Dick Sounds like what my father does with me, waits for me to get the cool things then "acquires" them while I work and says I don't have as much time to play as he does.

Cabelas if you have pointa and military discount. Free shipping. Thanks. I went this route. No points but free shipping and $60 off for the military discount. $45 in sales tax (TX) though... $585 all said and done.

Range Report - Good News/Not So Good News
First time at the range today with Xero C1
Good news.....
Very easy to set up. No huge tripod to carry around. No sky screens to set up. Tiny and light. This is the huge advantage. Moderately easy to use controls, but logically everything is tiny It correlated almost exactly to my ProChrono DLX on velocities, high, low and averages with same load. Rechargeable. If it sprinkles you can drop a plastic grocery bag over it.
Bad News....
It costs 4 times the ProChrono price for same apparent accuracy. The controls on the ProChrono are easier to use. The BIG negative..... The unit itself only reads back the high, low and average. For anything else you have to download the Garmin App onto your phone to get Extreme Spread, Standard Deviation, energy, etc. I went to download the app, and it is currently "unavailable". Well then.... Not really happy about the latter.
Just wanted to give everyone my first impressions.
You can save a little here and there, but it is going to cost close to retail.

I can no longer imagine having to bring along the camera tripod & chronograph both, set up the camera tripod, unbox and attach the rods & screens, adjust the tripod several times until I’m completely confident I will not shoot said chronograph, pray it stays sunny and the chronograph will be able to get readings for the duration of my session. And of course, almost forgot, I still have to write all the numbers down on paper since the chronograph is not connected to my phone. No thanks…

I have owned & used an Ohler 35P chrono for a LONG time. Yet,, this new Garmin has me intrigued & looking at getting one. I don't have a real "need" but that doesn't stand in the way of my wanting one!
I looked at them at SHOT & was impressed. I've put one on my B-Day list. Maybe Miss Penny will be very nice to me,,!
