If you've used one you know it's an indispensable tool, and I think I may have gotten Ronnie a few more customers. I went out to the Game & Fish Public Range last weekend to help a retired PD buddy (who now works there) swap out his Blackhawk hammer, trigger, and grip frame. He was converting his Blackhawk to a Bisley version. I also took my stones and Powers jigs, just to do a proper job on the gun. We had a whole crowd in the range house watching me do my "magic tricks?" I also had to keep a close eye on the knuckleheads who wanted to "look at that thingy". I made sure I definitely got back each time! And I gave'em all Ronnies web site so they could get themselves one of their own. SIDE NOTE: I also made the serious mistake of letting a couple of his "Friends" shoot a cylinder full in my "Bisley/Wells KBird" when we went up on the line to test fire the progress on the hammer/trigger work. It's now only Wednesday and I'm having to dodge at least 4 or 5 guys who want me to do the same on their guns. I KNOW I DIDN'T SIGN UP FOR THIS. Hahaha. The proper Nomenclature is THANGY! Lol I know gunny. Thruout the years the one i made 40 years ago has been a guarded tool. I had men try to run out the door with it. It works so well i had to makem for you guys. I dont make any thing on them. just enough to pay for materials and machining tools. Its about makin something happen. Something good. R

I've had one for several years and really like it! Now that I'm thinking about it, a guy really should have a couple of spares in his gunsmith toolbox...

I have a big pile of grip frames ready to go out, I just wanted to provide some much nicer walnut with them. we are gonna keep messin around here and get good at this stuff. Hahaha. I have seen several hammers and triggers get stopped in Atlanta here lately. Have any of you heard about this? I have 6 orders that have been at The Atlanta GA Postal service facility waiting to go to the next link of there journey and they are telling me something has happened. R

R My hammer is one of the ones held up at a newly opened USPS distribution center near Atlanta. It’s been all over the local news about the mismanagement at the center and the backup in mail delivery. I had an order of bullets from a forum member held up there for about two weeks, but they were finally delivered a couple of days ago. Maybe there is still hope for the missing hammers and triggers. I know Ronnie is doing his best to follow up on this.

USPS was kind enough to deliver my “third hand” for a BFR, but the Bisley hammer from Ronnie is still a no show. At least I’ll get to spend some time inside the BFR.

That way, if I have to eat it, I at least “MIGHT” get my money back. Getting one’s money back can be difficult, but at least it’s possible.

It's the handiest thing since a Barlow knife. I'll never forget the first time I used it. I looked at it for a minute and thought "why didn't I think of that."
