Do Marlin model 94’s chambered in 41 magnum use a 41 magnum specific magazine tube, or do they use the same one as 44 Magnum and 45 Colt?

My guess would be they are all the same.
I had a couple of.41s and a .44 all at one time and noted no different.

The springs all have the same part number.

Hmm, just need a new bolt for the conversion.

See if there is a source for followers for each of the different calibers, does each have its own part number/specification?

In building a 444 Trapper I was surprised to find the mag tube ID and OD the same as one from a 30-30. So would not be surprised now if commonality is normal

After Marlin stopped making the 1894S in .41 Magnum if you had a .44 and wanted a .41 they would convert it for you for the price of a new barrel and bolt. A friend of mine almost had it done but just stayed with .44...
Since Marlin has been through two owners since then, finding extra parts is going to be tough. I would imagine that the bolt of an 1894 .357 Magnum could be opened to .41 and a new barrel made...
That said, with the price of a base gun one may find an original gun for not much more money than one will have into a conversion..

Found a used JM 44 today for sale for $650. Did not buy it, but that seems as reasonable as it’s gonna get going forward.

$650 is WAY below market value... Most in nice shape go for closer to a grand especially if it is a pre-crossbolt safety...
