Glock 19 or 26. I believe 26 can use any double stack Glock mag, and is the most compact of the double stack 9mm glocks.

A storm would be my biggest threat. Other than a slicker, change of clothes and a pair of tall rubber boots I dont carry anything specific. The back seat of my truck is packed to the gills with so much crap if you dropped me and my truck off in the Arctic I would show up on your doorstep three days later with a fist full of pesos and a new German bride. LOL.

Like X101 i have more stuff in my truck than a tocoma should be able to hold. a bag packed with a light load of goodies for outdoor survival/ urban survival and some food/water rides behind the seat for a grab and go along with a pretty good TCCC/IFAK kit. a big knife that I forged with rubber horse stall mat handles the sheath has a tek-lok to attach to bag or belt as needed. Normally have a 9 MM ar-9 with collapable buffer tube behind the passenger side seat with a backpack that i can throw it in as to not attract attention. A Wettering ax with 20" handle, bob Destrud collapable buck saw and clothes for different weather conditions, cool, rainy and such. Normally have a chest pouch with a Ruger stainless Mark II with red dot sight and a ruger 44 special with a holosun, that goes in and out of the truck daily. this all goes beyond the HK VP9SK with a holosun and spare mag and two EDC Benchmade Griptilians and a swiss army knife with a saw in my pocket deep. With all of this gear, I could cherry pick what i needed for my get home trek. Just about every piece of gear listed has been used in a pinch or an emergency in the last 13 years that i loaded the tocoma with it.

sorry for the side track... but you mentioned "ugly Betty" this is a knife my FIL made called "Ham Bone Betty"... it's made from a big circular saw blade ( one of those that runs off a tractor on a flat belt ) the point is actually one of the saw teeth, it has a full tank, and epoxied on is an actual ham bone that fits the hand like glove... he made it for the traditional muzzle loader shoot he used to attend...

That is a classy lady!! I made one from a piece of a crosscut saw (two man style). I left two of the teeth sticking out of the pommel so on a lunge if you miss on the return you can rip flesh. Hence no effort is wasted. This was very popular on 18th and 19th century fighting knives made from saw blades. The one with the ham bone is genius also!

i made two ugly betty knives at the same time- gave one to a buddy who likes rustic style steel. these two were 5160 triple tempered makes for a really tough knife. i used a filing technique to take out the majority of the hammer marks. left it black out of the quench oil with no polishing after the draw back.
the old timers knew how to be brutally deadly. Knife and tomahawk fighting is amazing.

I even made rubber edged tomahawk trainers and they are still brutal. The old saying is "just don't get hit" !
