I have a Belgium made Hi Power I've had since middle 80's and it was new when I got it. It's the target sighted model. One thing I did, that the new Springfield SA-35 doesn't have is the magazine disconnect, and got rid of that on mine. That made a difference on my trigger to the positive. I didn't polish anything up on my trigger system, only put some special lube on the parts and it further improved the trigger. Other then that, because Springfield is so tight lipped and won't tell you who they get their grips from, I got a new custom wood set of grips from one of the major grip makers that almost are just like the SA-35 ones and just as thin. I love them. Now one thing I have for my high power is a 30 Luger barrel. With that said how does my Hi Power function? 100 % reliable with all types of ammo, bullet weights, and buller shapes....plus with cast. Same thing when switching it to 30 Luger. How does the 30 Luger shoot in my pistol? Well was out on Monday shooting pop cans at 100 yards and hitting them one after another. When the sights are on at 25 yards they seem to be awful close at 100 yards. Great pistol and I'll never sell mine. I only wish it didn't have the spur hammer.
