A guy in Florida is selling this ammo for $110. I knew a guy in our So. Flo IPSC club who would have L-O-V-E-D these, his 1911 was so blinged out (in the 80's) we told him if he got a sex change he'd be THE tackiest dresser in the state :-) * Live full-power ammo with beautiful crystal stones professionally mounted into hollow-points. * 42 total cartridges: [24 =.45-Colt] + [6 = .44-Mag] + [6 =.357-Mag] + [6 =.38-Spcl]. * Perk-up the look of your revolvers, and use some for separate displays.

That sure is tacky!
I uhhh might know a guy who got some cheap carnauba wax in bulk and buffed it on some already shiny cast lead slugs so they would look like silver. Dunno that it came out quite that well, but it did brighten them up for sure!

makes me think to Francisco "Paco" Scaramanga, The Man with the Golden Gun, and his handloads...

I have six silver bullets made for me by a friend. Never can tell when you may get mugged by a werewolf.

there is also a tradition according to which waxed buckshots made it more difficult for wounds to heal, but personally I doubt it makes much difference if they are 00 coming out of a twelve

I think I have a pack of those gems for my son's kindergarten projects, they were something like $4 at target.

I made the mistake of showing that picture to Miss Penny. Now she wants me to load her a few like that for her SP-101. Sheesh!

I cannot imagine a real use for those except perhaps on a wall display with a non functioning revolver. I've seen some silver bullet ones, but from what I am told silver casts VERY poorly, so they must be machined. Of course, those would look great on a werewolf/vampire hunter revolver display.

A set in one’s birthstone would be a nice touch.

Try explaining that to a jury after you pop an intruder.

A set in one’s birthstone would be a nice touch. I'm an April baby. I could just see them digging a diamond out of some home invader now. My defense in court would be," he said give him my valuables. I just complied all 16 times!"

I can only think of two uses for those. It could be a way of getting the lady in your life into shooting. Whatever it takes. The other option would be like mentioned above, silver bullets were for werewolves, these might be good if you're being attacked by Maxwell Klinger.
