Even though its been raining every day for a week now & I still haven't finished packing for Raton, I decided to make a little ground squirrel run to let my Alan Harton 480 stretch its legs. I managed to get my truck very muddy but the trip was worth it, this is a very large female badger & the 350 gr LFN really punched her ticket. One shot at about 30 yds as she sneaked along the lava reef & the Harton gun was properly christened! Fermin, get your crocs on & come shoot a badger! This photo was taken last week, spring comes slow in the Rockies! Dick

Nice badger, it looks like they have longer hair up north. Good to see you got your gun back already.

Dick, curious as to what Alan found was wrong with the gun.

I believe Harton widened the bolt and recut the notch raceways on the cylinder for more positive engagement.
