I finally made the decision to get one but am torn between the two. It will probably be 357 but 45 Colt is a possibility. To be honest, my preference is for the Japanese made Winchester but availability may be an issue. Is Umberti's quality (type of steel, hardness, workmanship) the equal of the Miroku? Most say Umberti is the one to get.
My intent is to compete in the new Deadeye Division of the Brutality matches. Cowboy action does not interest me since it seems to have turned into a speed contest rather than moving, positions, etc., like IDPA or multigun matches. A friend advises there are new cowboy gun type competitions in the works. Will probably install a Marbles style tang sight.
Your thoughts?

UBERTI, no "M", is just fine. I have a Cimarron by Uberti in my safe and it's a fine shooter....looks pretty good too for Italian acid coloring. Mine is in the authentic 44-40.
