Picked this up yesterday. Couldnt walk away. Ruger no1 450/400 NE 3". Polished blue. New in the box. Have a box of Hornady ammo coming. Will be looking for handloading components.   |

Very nice. I have one on layaway at the moment and have been trying to scoop up components and figure out a scope to put on it.

Beautiful rifles and great caliber..being a true .410 one can run all the pistol bullets for small game and plinking...
Friend has a double rifle in .450#2 and .450/.400 and taken elephant with both...

Great cartridge!! I sold my #1 in 450/400 late last spring. I'd love a double in the cartridge but I would love a double in 9.3 X 74R more.
Love #1's as well but I never seem to hang onto one.
