No, they dont exist, but i modified a 300gr and thats what i ended up with. When i first started accumulating molds before i had ever cast a bullet, i took a lee 300gr RF and milled the GC shank off of it. I was expecting a 285gr bullet but they ended up being 260gr naked. Now i have 5 different 44 molds from some big name makers, and this modified lee is the most consistently accurate bullet through all of my 44's. Seems like a good value, especially to get started.

Thanks sir. It shoots really well in eveything i have. I had thpught about finding a higher quality copy of the 300rf bullet in a weight more suitable to 44spl, but i just really cant find any fault with this one. It cast 6 nice bullets every time!

Can’t argue with results. You could probably do a ton of interesting things with a mill and various molds of different design. I wonder what you could accomplish with a .45 Keith mold milled down to more 45 acp appropriate weights.

I’m not sure. I cast the 452460 which is a swc but the meplat mics out at .223. I’m not sure about the Keith auto rim bullet but I like the nose length and meplat of the 452424 that I cast. I wonder if you skinnied up the bottom drive band and put most of the weight towards that long nose what it would do. I’m just speculating.

Wouldnt be too hard to find out. I bet accurate molds has one in their online catalog. If you havnt been there, its fun to browse through all of the files of bullets people have designed.

Marlin 35, The bullet you're wanting has existed for years as the Lyman 452423. I have the NOE BULLET MOULDS version of it, its a good shooter and has a big honking meplat. It's their 453-247. You can get it with or without hollow point pins, which come with a set of flat point pins also. Check it out, its a good bullet. Search the Lyman number, lots of good reading comes up

Matter of fact, last night i cast up some more of the 200gr for 357 and some 44 bullets in an arsenal 503 mold. Tonight i cast some MP 432-640 woth the large HP pins and just got done powder coating with the powder 101AB was so gracious to send out for the asking. The powder worked wonderfully by the way. Very unique color as well.

well done chuck, it can be an addiction with molds, alloys, PC and the likes. then after all that, load development, accuracy testing and lastly field testing which it looks like you are really doing good at. keep it up!

Very nice, thanks for sharing. I'd love to have one modified myself. I use a Ranch Dog 432-265-RF that I picked up second hand and it does pretty good in both m y 44 Special Blackhawk and my 44 Magnum Winchester 92.
