I'm so pleased with this latest acquisition that I just had to post some pictures (on a couple boards) so I hope you all will excuse what seems like bragging. Actually it's just enthusiasm. A 1957 vintage (4-digit serial number) Blackhawk 44 Magnum. I bought a used one in 1971 shortly after getting out of the Army. I much preferred it to the Super Blackhawks I was seeing and I haven't changed my mind in all the intervening years. This one is not perfect but it is the nicest one of several I've owned. Got to get to the range soon, maybe even tomorrow. Dave

It's OK to brag. We understand. Feeling good about a new gun is completely understandable.

I looked for one of those for many years - saw a few, very few, but they were priced outside of my comfort zone. They say that everything comes to he who waits. Well, last year, I got TWO flattops - one is a 50th Anniversary .44 Magnum and the other is my .44 Lipsey Special. I am, at last, a happy camper!!
Congratulations on your find!!
