I have a 1950 Marlin 336SC “waffle top” in .35 Rem. The rifle has no pitting, and the bluing has turned to gray as older rifles do. The bore is clean with no rust or pitting. This rifle is exceptionally accurate with its Ballard rifling. I am looking to sell it to fund something different.

Awwww, don't sell it . Then you would have to change your handle. My 35 Rems have Micro-Groove and have never been great with cast bullets. So it would find favor with a cast bullet shooter if you can steer it that way. Value would be higher if you sell on a national stage but more complicated also. Unless you get lucky and find "That Guy" face to face local selling will probably not fetch top dollar. I paused a day too long to think about one in very similar condition to yours at a pawnshop at $500 maybe 5 years ago. Still think about that one. Unless someone is tooled up and has enough brass already a buyer might be tempted to go with a 360 Buckhammer for ease of supply.

I gave $450 out the door for this one in January of 2017 while I was in Nebraska for a couple years.
